An Action-Packed Game

Rosrock has been taken down by the government in a game of cat and mouse with the help of NASA astronaut Tom Stafford. SuperNova, an asteroid mining company is currently on the brink of bankruptcy, and NASA astronauts are trying to figure out who is behind Rosrock and what plans they may have. Renowned Astrobiologist Dr. George Foster is out on the run from Rosrock Industries, the Big Brother of space exploration. Meanwhile, Dr. Richard Pierce is in love with Dr. Foster, and this has lead to a lot of back and forth between them that is causing a rift in their friendship.

The game begins with the United States government looking for some way to save the Hilton Hotel from the clutches of Rosrock. The only problem is the Hilton Hotel has been occupied by alien beings known as the Yolkians. Using space technology, the Yolkians have taken control of the Hilton, and they have made a deal with NASA, giving them access to space station Mir. But NASA wants nothing to do with this plot, so in order to prove to the world that the Yolkians were once friendly, they need NASA astronauts Tom Stafford and Richard Pierce to go into space to steal a mysterious artifact known as the "Bag of Beans".

With the help of the NASA astronauts, Tom and Richard infiltrate the Yolkian facility, destroying most of its facility and then confront its leader. The leader's name is Dr. Richard, and he has made a deal with Rosrock Industries to steal a piece of technology known as the "Odyssey Seed". He then makes a deal with the alien beings called the Yolkians to steal the Yolkian spaceship and use it to transport himself and his crew into space.

Unfortunately, Tom and Richard meet some resistance in their mission. During one battle, Tom meets and battles Dr. Richard, and after battling, Tom realizes that Richard is an impostor, and that Rosrock has something to hide. With this information in mind, Tom, Dr. Pierce, and NASA decide to infiltrate Rosrock again, but this time, they need some help.

They recruit NASA astronauts Richard Garriott, Kate Mulgrew, and John Spencer to infiltrate Rosrock and fight their way into the factory. The trio is able to destroy most of the Yolkian troops, but soon find themselves cornered against an alarm. The alarm was triggered by Dr. Richard's former student, Isabel, Richard's wife Kate. Isabel tries to warn her husband but is shot in the arm and then dies.

Tom, Richard, and Kate escape from the factory and make their way into the Yolkian spaceship. Once inside, they discover the Bag of Beans, a piece of technology that is capable of creating life, but when they touch the device, they accidentally release a plague of alien spores all over the ship. A battle ensues, and Tom and Richard survive and the aliens eventually leave the ship while Tom and Richard travel back to Earth.
