History of Westerland / Sylt

The capital city of the Westerlands is the small town of Sylt. This small city is also known as the West Gate to the Seven Kingdoms. It has been one of the most important towns in the realm and has been a major city in the war. Its history dates back to the era of the First Men and it is now a main city in the Westerlands.

A major part of the history of Sylt is the Second Battle of the Fist. This battle has been known as the Seven Kingdoms' first great battle, and is a major point in the history of Westerland / Sylt. The two sides of this battle were known as the Brotherhood Without Banners and the Brotherhood Without Arms. It was during this battle that Prince Aemon of Myr invaded from the Iron Islands.

The alliance was formed by Prince Aemon after he helped defeat King Aerys. He led his forces into the Seven Kingdoms and was welcomed by King Aerys and the other kings who were allied with him. He then started attacking the other side's castles and was known as Prince Aemon of Dragonstone.
