A Guide to the City of Magdeburger

Magdeburg Cochstedt Airport is an unplanned airport located in Cochstedton, Saxony, Germany. It is situated about 38 kilometers southwest of Magdeburger, capital of Saxony, and a little more than 190 kilometers west of the heart of Berlin. The airport, which was opened on 14 September 2020, was shut down by the state government in November 2020. But it is scheduled to be re-opened in April 2020. In addition to the new airport, there are plans for a new airport at Kiel and for a new terminal at Magdeburger.

There are four terminals of Magdeburg Cochstedt Airport. The westernmost terminal is called the Ederleiding, which has two terminals, each one connected by a short flight of stairs. The second terminal is called the Eberlingen, which has three terminals. The third terminal is the Oberlandbahnhof, which has four terminals. The last terminal is the Main Station, which is one terminal attached to the main airport.

The facilities of Magdeburg Cochstedt airport include a small terminal building that is used by trans-continental flights. There are also waiting areas and check-ins at the airport. At the time of writing, there is only a single public bus service operating between the airport and the central railway station in Magdeburger. This service runs every five minutes. There is no direct train link to other cities in Saxony and there is no public transport system serving the area.

Visitors to Magdeburg have an easier time with parking at the airport. The car parks are in close proximity to the terminal. There is also a facility whereby travellers can pay for their car parking in advance, so that they do not need to drive up to a terminal to get their cars out of storage. These facilities are useful for people who have to travel by train but do not want to risk losing their cars at the railway station. While it is possible to park overnight at the car park, you are not allowed to leave your car overnight.

Magdeburg's international airport is not particularly well connected with the rest of the country. However, there are direct trains to Cologne, Frankfurt, Kiel and Berlin. There are also regular direct flights from London and Paris. To Prague, Austria and Warsaw, Poland. There is a direct flight from the United States every day. Flights are provided to Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Hungary, with direct flights to Budapest, Romania, Russia, Prague and Warsaw. The train to Bucharest and Romania is also available.

Travel by rail is possible, as well, but it is not advisable to use this method to travel to Magdeburger. Many of the stations are not fully accessible, and there is an average of a three-hour drive from the station to the centre of town. There are also some minor problems with accommodation. The city has a good public transport network but only runs during the summer months.
